For those who think, "All the English clubs seem to be at a high level..." or "I can't find the motivation to speak English on my own...", we are the Current Affairs English Study Group, an officially recognized English conversation club for beginners and intermediate learners with 60 years of history! You don't need to aim for native-like fluency or a high level of fluency, and if you don't know how to say something in English, it's OK to ask in Japanese! With just one relaxed English conversation session a week, you'll be able to speak English before you know it in a year! We have a variety of activities, such as discussing English articles and playing table games in English, and we also adopt ideas from new members! We hold a dinner party after every activity, where you can get to know each other while exploring restaurants in Hiyoshi (new member discounts available!!). We also have a lot of interaction with alumni, so you can get information that will be advantageous for job hunting and build connections!
