A Cappella Singers K.O.E. is the only a cappella club at SFC, with a history spanning over 30 years. A cappella is vocal a music performed without instruments; we perform in groups of five or six, as well as in full ensemble with all members. There are no genre restrictions—we sing everything from J-pop to Western music, K-pop, children’s songs, and gospel. Not only is this group perfect for those who love singing and vocal percussion, but since we produce all our concerts entirely on our own, members can take on a wide range of challenges—from handling music and lighting equipment to photography and videography, as well as managing our social media and website. Currently, while our main focus is on summer concerts, we also hold smaller-scale concerts in the fall and winter. Additionally, we take on challenges such as performing at external events, collaborating with other clubs, and participating in a cappella competitions. We also hold training camps once each in the summer and winter, where we enjoy activities beyond just singing—such as recreational games and special events—regardless of grade level.
