Takara is Keio University's only officially recognized Japanese dance club! With the motto of Japanese dance x international exchange, we practice together with international students from all over the world. Over 50 international students have been members of Takara, fostering deep cultural exchange. Our lessons are conducted under the guidance of a Japanese dance instructor from the Fujima school, one of the five major schools of Japanese dance. All of our current members started learning Japanese dance in university. Beginners, men, students in their second year or above, and students from other universities are all welcome!
