We are the Keio University Weightlifting Club!
Although the majority of our members start weightlifting in university, we train daily with the goals of winning the ‘Soukeisen’ (Keio-Waseda match) and maintaining our position in Division 1 of the Intercollegiate University Championships.
Our training takes place 5 days a week (4 weekdays and 1 Saturday) in the basement floor of the Hiyoshi Campus Commemorative Hall. Members can choose from 4 different training time slots, making the club easy to balance alongside academics.
Weightlifting is also a weight-class sport, ranging from the 60kg to 110+kg category, allowing people of all body types to have a chance to shine.
We’re currently recruiting both athletes and managers, regardless of gender.
Second-year students are also welcome to join.
We look forward to meeting new teammates to train with!
