Established in 1990, STEPS Musical Company is one of Keio University’s official activity circles, where over 170 members are dedicated in producing all-original musicals. Not only acting and script writing, but the students in STEPS create everything from scratch, including stage art, lighting, sound, advertising art, production, costume, filmmaking, composition, singing instruction, and choreography. In addition to the main performances twice a year (spring and summer), multiple performances are held throughout the year such as newcomer performances, Mita Festival performances, and more. There are also many opportunities for the members to interact with each other, such as the end-of-year party held in December and the training camps held in spring and summer. It's a circle where anyone can do whatever they want to do and let their talents shine.
