Karate Team

Japanese Name:

空手部

We are the oldest karate club in the world, celebrating our 100th anniversary this year. Last year, the club won the top eight in men's kumite and third place in women's kata in the All-Japan team competition, as well as the Waseda-Keio match! In the individual competitions, our members won the Kanto championship, were second in the All-Japan competitions, and won many international competitions. We have members from various backgrounds, such as those who started karate at university, those who have had a karate blank, and those who have competed in inter-high school tournaments. We are also looking for managers! There are no barriers between players and managers, and the club members get along very well with each other in a lively atmosphere! Let's aim to be the best in Japan together in this traditional karate club!
