My Own Place

Japanese Name:

学生団体MOP

My Own Place (MOP), a student organization, was established to create a place for children with the philosophy of "Love For Growth". We rent a temple space on the 2nd and 4th Saturdays of each month from 1:30pm to 7:00pm to share playtime and meals with local children. We play games at the temple or go to a neighborhood park to play tag and are surrounded by the cheerful and energetic laughter of children. For dinner, everyone cooks a meal together in a large pot using vegetables donated by local residents. We also hold events throughout the year such as rice cake pounding, watermelon splitting, Christmas, and birthday parties. We value our relationship with each child and continue to create a safe place for them to grow and develop.
